You’ve got some incredible footage, now you need to make the visual narrative make sense. A good editor follows the original script but makes room for inspiration to guide the edit into new, surprising territory. ‘Who would’ve thought that the quickly-taken footage of the actor improvising his lines would be our opening shot?’ It does, and should be allowed to- happen. We have our own in-house editor with a deft touch on all genres. And once the narrative is in place, we grade the footage ourselves.
