For the first time in promo history, we were tasked with producing a campaign that required us to combine two separate concepts into one sixty second spot. To secure the pitch, the creative powers at C2 decided to present two ideas to SuperSport, not knowing of course that they might go with both. After last season’s success, the obvious play was to bring back John Dykes to be our face and voice to yet another campaign, which they bought. The second idea hinged on creating an interactive element that would get fans to engage in our campaign, by sending in pictures of themselves through Social Media i.e. Instagram.
